Malang-Malang is a one-person-owned ceramics brand. The founder Melly Lym creates uniquely handmade pieces that inspire nostalgia through imperfections and colors. Melly loves to walk around in Chinatown and Koreatown of Los Angeles, always keeping an eye out for knick knacks that inspire her art. She also brings back the color schemes of the toys she used to play with and children’s books she used read as a child in her work. (Malang-Malang means “squishy squishy” in ASMR Korean.)
